Yes! Thank you for bringing this in - it feels like a bridge. I find that bringing shadow or heaviness into play has the potential bring a new depth or expanded range into the play - while also bringing lightness to the shadow.

I had a moment in my day when a certain quality of heaviness came up. I thought of this practice, and even just the thought, "How could I also bring this into play?" brought an expansion. What if we met challenges more like that?

By the way, in today’s political and social climate, I think we need games like this more than ever. I often get frustrated with these things too, because I feel like I have no control over them. But at least I can take care of my own mental state. I often think of the movie La Vita è Bella (Life Is Beautiful) — when everything falls apart, sometimes it’s only our imagination that can save us.

You know, I’m a bit of a concept geek and tend to overthink what’s truly meaningful or worthwhile these days. And I came to the conclusion that: The meaning of life often comes from the most meaningless things.

In today’s social and technological world, I believe anything that nurtures our humanity and strengthens human connection is worthwhile.

So please keep doing what you’re doing — it really matters!
